All of the subway art will be put on white canvas. This selection can be replicated exactly, the others can be customized according to your desires and will be 12x12.

Includes: Everything needed to complete project (customized printed graphic, canvas, and adhesive) once you have submitted the pictures of your choice
Length of class: 10-15 minutes per frame

Class: Framed Silhouettes

I love the framed silhouettes and wanted to offer the class to anyone that wants to make one. Perfect for your house or for a gift.

Cost: $15

Color: Black and White or you can customize your by painting your frame another color or putting another color in behind your silhouette for your mat (let me know if you would like a color change).

Comments: A profile picture for the silhouette (against a solid background like a wall in your home..needs to be emailed to my by Nov 5th).

Items to bring to the class: Scissors and adhesive. All else provided. Will have instructions if you want to work at your own pace.

Organza Flowers (Beginning):

Cost: $3.50 per flower and $5 per headband for kids or adults.

Colors: Turquoise and Pink (shown below)

Comments: Brighter colors and more spunk, these flowers are for those girls with flair! This is the easiest flower you will ever make! Items needed for class: Glue gun. All else provided (and I will have a glue gun if needed). Will have instructions of you want to go at your own pace.

Length of Class: One takes about 3-5 minutes.

Lace Flowers (Intermediate)

Cost:$4 per Flower, $5.50 per Headband for kids or adults.

Colors: Navy, Black, White, Brown, Dark Pink and Beige (tan).

Comments: I will show you how to make these beautiful and vintage looking flowers. Very simple yet elegant. Can be used to pin on as an accessory as well. You can make them as big or as small as you want. Wish the pics turned out better. Each flower will take about 5-7 minutes.

Items needed for this class: Glue gun. All else provided (and I will have a glue gun if needed). Will have instructions if you want to go at your own pace.

Silk or Cotton Flowers (Advanced)

Cost: $3 per Flower and $5 per Headband for kids or adults.

Colors: Cream, Light Pink, Dark pink, Black, Red and Turquoise Blue.

Comments: These flowers are such a pretty way to dress up your outfit. Can also be pinned onto hat or shirt. Each flower will take about 8 minutes.

Items needed for this class: Glue gun. All else provided (and I will have a glue gun if needed).

Digi-Scrap Class

CD Case Calendars.

This is going to be a super-easy class (for you especially) the key to this class will be preparation. I am going to put together digital scrapbooking calendars that will slide into CD cases. I will need you to e-mail me your pictures ahead of time to make this work. At retreat, you'll be cutting the pictures printed sheets, sliding them into the CD case and doing any additional embellishments. I want all of your pictures by November 6th.

Price $7/each calendar

Includes: CD case, printed sheets with your pictures in them, & my time. :) COMPLETE pictures and instructions will be given to those who sign up! Here is January to give you an idea of how cute these are. PS They won't have "Created by Lindsey Blackhurst on the front of your copies. :)

My second class is going to be making clipboards. I'll supply the clipboards, white paint, ModPodge, paper (for the front and back) and ribbon. You'll be on your own for embellishments. These would make fabulous teacher/office gifts. On mine here I bought those cool die-cut stickers and used them as embellishments. I'll have some little add-ons available AT retreat if you want them.

Price $5/clipboard (you might think you can do this cheaper on your own, but remember I'm supplying it all in one spot, and everything will be SU- which means good quality!!)

Retreat Class: Frame that Name

In this class we will make the frame of your choice with the name or title you would like. First name, last name, nickname or sentiment, these frames are great gifts for the little (or big) people in your life!

There are 2 colors of frames, black (8.5 x 11)and brown (8 x 10).
The colors above are the following:
Feminine: Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay with Chocolate Chip.
*You could choose to use the paisley background instead of posy or add your own stamps.
Masculine: Real Red and Bermuda Bay with Black.
*You can use wild about you instead of bugs and kisses or decorate it however you'd like.
You may pick 2 colors (in addition to the frame color) for your projects. I would like to accommodate you if you have a specific color scheme you are trying to match. Please let me know what colors you would like to use when ordering. You can change it up however you'd like...these are SO much fun!

This class offers gifts for the people on your list...and even one for you! These projects all use at least one of the vinyl flowers. The vinyl is quick and easy and makes creating a gift a breeze. The three choices are:

This gallon cookie jar has 3 of the eastern blooms black vinyl mini flowers. You can make the same one or choose the rose red or chocolate vinyl flowers from the decor elements line. This is a perfect gift for a candy or cookie jar or change it up and use it to hold your ribbon scraps. Each Jar is $10.

These square glass vases are perfect for a candle, candy or potpourri. You can purchase the vase as shown above with your choice of potpourri fragrances (apple & cinnamon, sea breeze, apricot & mango, or rose garden) with the flower of your choice. Vases with potpourri are $5.

The Cookie Caper
This little bag is designed for cookies, although I'm sure you could put other things in there. Includes: everything is provided except the cookie.

The Scent of PineThis little bag is a mini coffee bag. You could put a sample of your favorite brew in there, OR something sweetly baked from the heart- whatever you want! I decided to make this one a little more masculine, but if you use the other side of the paper, it has a more feminine appeal.
Includes: everything you see, except your gift inside. Crape paper is available as well.
Limit: Unlimited

Merry Mug
Coffee Mugs are a great little gift for this chilly time of year. Feel free to bring your fillers to class and make the project complete. Some ideas include: hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, candies, candy canes.
Includes: the mug, tag, & ribbon. Crape paper is available as well.
Limit: At this point, I have 12 mugs, but I can get more if there is a need.

A Little Something
Inside this little decorative package is a small cello bag that could hold a myriad of treasures. For my sample, I put some hard candies with the crape paper. Candies or little supplies- whatever you can think of!

Frosty Tote
I love this little guy & he's so fast and easy to make. I am hoping to find some orange crape paper to match his nose to go along with this project. It cannot hold super heavy items, but candy bars, little office supplies, gift certificates, would all be great!

Retreat Class: To Cap it Off

The price of this class has yet to be determined, but we are aiming for around $5/container that will include the necklace, 6 bottle caps, and a metal container. The limit to this class will be 30 (meaning 30 containers). I do not have a sample that I have done yet- since my supplies are not ordered, but here is a picture from this blog. This should give you a good idea of what you are looking at making. These little choker/necklaces are great for little girls, tweens, or teens.

Option 2: Just make the bottle caps and use them as magnets. This price will be slightly less than option 1, but will include all supplies listed above except the supplies needed to make the necklace. These would be really cute on a metal post-it board.

Hi gals-
Retreat is right around the corner and Leah is accepting deposits ($45) for VIPs (those that have attended before) now. We will have an open registration beginning August 14th for those that haven't attended. If you want to get your foot in the door, send your moolah to Leah. Some of you have already done so- and we are excited! If you want to send the whole sum, it is $95 for both days & $45 for Saturday only.

Traditionally this retreat focuses on making things for the holidays. Leah and I will have several classes available. Some of those classes will be kits, like we did last time, and some will be actual classes where we will all do the work together. If there is a project or class that you are itching to have, let us know and we'll see if we can fit it in. Here is what we have so far:

Howdy Stampin' friends!
Just wanted to send out a reminder that our Stampin' Retreat, Crop-Till-You-Drop is 24 days away- WHOA, where did the time go?

For those of you signed up- or even if you're not, all classes are up! (I just need my camera for the remaining pictures!) Sign up today by e-mailing me, or see below for details. Remember, all the $$ is due March 1st to avoid the late fee. It is looking like a smaller camp than usual, but it should still be SO fun, so please join us. Retreat Class: Friendship in a Jar...Packet Style

These jars are perfect for a gift for a friend or sister...even to keep for yourself. They can be used to hold ribbon scraps, bath salts or crystals, candy, buttons, accessories, anything you can think of. They come in 2 sizes and you can choose either pattern.

Small jars are $3. Paper is double sided which allows you to play around with the colors and patterns.

Large Jars are $4.

You can either hang the tag from the jar or stick it to the top.

This class is one that comes packet style with the paper, ribbon and needed items for you to create the jars at your own pace. You may order multiple jars.

Jars can also be purchased empty. Small is $1.50 and Large is $2.50

Everyone loves a frame project. They make fabulous gifts, can be personalized, and don't break the bank. For our Retreat, we will be focusing on frames for kids- you'll need to specify if you want to do it for a girl(s) or boy(s). I will have 2 designs available, or you can come up with your own. The cost for this class will be $6/frame project.
The boy frame could also have other fun things stamped in the circle and the girl frame would be darling with some added rub-ons.

Layout Kit #1: Enjoy every Moment/Spring

For retreat I am designing layouts you can do at your own pace. You buy the kit for $5 and it comes with everything you need along with step by step instructions. This layout is super easy and versatile! It features new paper and accessories from the new catalog.

I used the new Raspberry Tart DSP along with build a brads, new chocolate chip 5/8 inch brads, and the eyelet punch border!

Retreat Layout Kit #2: Memories

This is another versatile layout you can use for just about any pictures. Kit is $5 and comes with all the pieces you need, along with step by step instructions. You make the layout when you want and at your own pace.

Kit's are available to those not going to retreat. Just let me know and I will get the packet to you.

Things to bring to the classes:

All classes will need sharp scissors and adhesive (we will not provide adhesive). Some projects recommend sticky tape- which can be purchased through Stampin’ Up! or a craft store (I’ve even seen it at Wal-Mart- but it’s not as long-lasting). These lists are designed for you to gather to make the classes go quicker, but if you do not have the supplies- don’t fret, they’ll be there for you (except adhesive!)

The frame is 14.5x7.25 inches. The cost for this class is $8. It includes the frame & all that comes with it, as shown. The charms will vary. You can select your background color as well- any of the In-Colors are available. This class will take maybe 15 minutes/frame, depending on wait. It is super easy, but does require heat embossing. Depending on availability of the frames, there may be a cap on this class- so sign up quickly. Can you see the clear snowflakes on the white? This is done with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. So cool.

This class is great for small and fast "goodies" you want to give friends, neighbors, teachers and family. These gifts are low in cost and quick to make!

For one of each gift, the class is $15. If you want more of something or don't want all 3 you can purchase each gift individually. Please specify when signing up for the class.

Jingle all the Way large glass Candy Jar.

Candy Jars will have vinyl letters on the front with a jingle bell that says, "Jingle All the Way." Colors of vinyl to choose are real red, old live, and chocolate chip. They are SO CUTE! This gift alone is $8.

Goodie Bowl.

Goodie Bowl is $4 filled, or $3 empty.

Candle Gifts.
These candle gifts come with 2 choices.
1. Brown square ceramic base with citrus pomegranate candle.

Happy Holidays Class: A Paper Bag Mini Album

I am really excited about this little project. Perfect for family Christmas pictures, pictures with santa, holiday recipes, pictures of your friends and family...there are just so many possibilities!

The edges of the paper bag are actually painted with olive paint. It's such a fun and easy way to spice it up!

I received a Christmas card last year with something similar to this and I LOVED the idea of using the paper bag...so I turned it into a mini album! (Thanks Brooke!)

(Note: the browns used ARE the same color, although the one above looks lighter)

The album comes with 3 2-page layouts. Page dimensions are 5 x 5. These albums are a great gift for a family member or friend....or hey, make one for yourself!

Three Mountain Retreat

Howdy!
For those of you that haven't been, Three Mountain Retreat is located in Clifton, Texas. The country scene gives this place such a western hometown feel to it. The staff there are so kind and go above and beyond. When a friends car battery died Friday night one of the staff came in Saturday morning to see if she needed it charged. Talk about southern hospitality!
It is so calm and quiet you get the feeling you are on another planet. With how crazy life can get this retreat gives your life the perfect charge! And who doesn't love to scrap all night? We have such a fun time and hope you will be joining is for the "Winter Round-up Retreat," in November.
